Japanese Embroidered Souvenir Jacket (1950’s)

This is an original Reversible Japanese Souvenir Jacket from just after World War II 

This jacket features hand embroidery all over. The black side is made from a soft velvet and features embroidery of several deers. The opposite metallic  blue side is made from satin featuring a beautiful embroidery of an eagle on the back and two dragons on the chest area.

Features a YKK zipper and two front pockets on each side.

The Navy officer who purchased this custom beauty was stationed in Japan in the late 1940s to 1950s.
