Raf Simons A/W 2018 Denim

This is a pair of Black denim with patches from Raf Simons A/W 2018-2019 collection titled "Youth in Motion". The pants feature a patch on each knee with two diffrent psychedelic drugs, '2C-B' and 'GHB'. This collection greatly referenced Christiane F. (1981) an anti-drug film that Raf also referenced for his critically acclaimed A/W 2001 collection "Riot! Riot! Riot!". The color-coded patches on the pants reference a mid-1980's tragic-comic play called 'Drugs' where two characters try diffrent narcotic substances and the play ends alluding to the death of one of these characters due to the abuse of the substances. These pants where styled in look 36 of the New York fashion week collection and retailed for $1,200.
