Vintage U.S. Military Jacket (1940's)

This is a Vintage World War 2 U.S. Army cropped Wool Field Jacket from 1945. The Olive colored jacket features a front button closure, an embroidered red star on the right arm, two exterior chest flap pockets with button closure as well as two interior jetted pockets. On the back you can find waistband tabs to adjust the fit. This particular jacket still has the name of it's former owner stapled to the inside, 

it also features uniform instructions for the soldiers to refer to under the size tag, making it a true piece of history. It is in great condition for its age, the garment has a few tiny holes (biggest hole pictured in slide 10) 

Marked size '36S' for 36 Short this means that this jackets length is 21in. where a '36 Regular' suit jacket would have a length of 25 in.
